Maria is the former principal and CEO of The Smith Company, a leading telemarketing company specializing in Fundraising, Membership renewals, and Market Research and Polling Services. Maria began her career in telemarketing as a part-time employee conducting political surveys. Due to her demonstrated commitment, knowledge, creativity, and entrepreneurial ideas, Maria quickly rose through the ranks of the company.

As CEO, Maria’s responsibilities included Client Services, Facilities Management, Program Management, and recruitment and training for all three company divisions: Fundraising, Survey Research, and Publication Sales.
